About Mwiki A.I.B.C.K
The Antioch Baptist Church Mwiki was founded in the year 2014 by Rev. Tr. Patrick Munyobi and Elizabeth Akinyi Munyobi, along with their four children (Kevin, Peter, Crispinus, and Ernest), in the slum area of Mwiki Estate, Kasarani Subcounty of Nairobi, Kenya.
- 2016-2018: The church grew its membership to 17 families and around 60 children for Sunday school.
- 2016: The church moved from a rental hall to a rental open ground, setting up a 45 by 40 size mabati structure.
- 2019: The church started holding children/youth camps, leading to the establishment of a charitable children education center.
- 2019-2021: During the COVID-19 pandemic, the church focused on servanthood with fewer accomplishments.
- 2022-2023: The church continued with outreach ministry, organizing children/youth camps during school holidays and opened a Bible college that trains pastors and church leaders who never had the opportunity for theological training. The college is accredited by TVETA under the name Antioch Christian College.
- 2024: The church has grown with diversified ministries, deeply involved in outreach, equipping, and giving back to the community.
