About Shinyanga A.I.B.C.K

Established on September 8, 2013, Shinyanga Independent Baptist Church serves a community of approximately 850 residents. Led by Pastor Harun Otieno and supported by Reagan Ochieng, Erick Ziani, and Victor Ouma, the church has grown to 161 members, including orphans and vulnerable individuals under its care.

In the last 11 years, the church has planted three additional churches: Ulanda Church, Isbania Church, and most recently, Antioch Center Stella. The church plans to plant a new church every three years.

Operating on land owned by AIBC, the church currently meets in a temporary structure without electricity. Priorities include installing power, constructing a permanent church building, a Sunday school hall, vocational training facilities, a church gate, and improving road access.

Pastor Otieno and his wife, Eunice Muyoka, care for over 30 orphans and children in need. Their income does not fully cover food, medical care, clothing, or school fees. Pastor Otieno, a theologically trained leader, also runs a Bible school for training pastors and church workers. He seeks prayers for wisdom, provision, and humility in ministry.

Giving

Initiatives

1. Supporting Orphans & the Less Fortunate: Providing education, food, clothing, and care. Donations help support orphanages, food banks, shelters, and schools.

2. Supporting Bible School Students: Helping fund tuition, housing, and study materials for ministry-bound students.

3. Supporting Church Development: Fundraising for permanent structures, youth ministries, and community outreach.

4. Evangelistic Missions: Outreach through door-to-door, open-air preaching, and missions, both locally and beyond.
